You're Going to Get Married

Today, I am standing up in front of my class about to tell them some very exciting news.

The news, class is going to be optional tomorrow so they can go take their quizzes. 

But this is how the conversation went.

Me: "Class, I have some very exciting news."

Student: "You're going to get married!"

Me: "No, not anytime soon."

And that ladies and gentlemen, is what teaching a class of freshman college students is like. But I would never change what I do for a second. I love the randomness and freedom that students get when they come to college. The ability to finally explore life without someone telling them right and wrong, it is amazing to see their growth in a semester.
